An exciting event is happening in less then 56 days (thanks Lora for counting down for me) ....I will be GRADUATING! As excited as I am I have also found myself very emotional about it especially in spiritual situations that occur daily at this wonderful school. I am so grateful for BYU-I, for professors who believe in me and are interested in my success (especially the Business Professors who challenged me continually as one of very few girls in the major), for tithe payers who have contributed to this remarkable learning system (I made it a goal to never waist a penny of your money and I sure hope I didn't), and for those who have continually encouraged me and help me through some stressful times. I have met some of the greatest people here and have developed unbreakable relationships with some of the most amazing people I could have ever have been blessed to know.

I have thousands of pictures from my great experiences, so I randomly went through and picked some out.

New York City came and went just like that. I got so much out of the trip and loved every minute of it...except for the flight home (the lack of sleep finally caught up to me).

I loved Time Square, there was so much to look at.

I had an awesome roommate, her name is Mandy and she was an art major from Canada. We spent every night staying up late talking and exchanging stories from our days adventures.

The New York Times was right outside our hotel. The poor guys, they were there all day and night.

At ground zero, it's the new Freedom Tower.

Rexburg Weekend

We got up before the sun to drive down to Rexburg. It really was a great weekend. Gary, Sarah, and Landon were there. My Aunt came up to visit my cousin Carly and Brian. It was a little family reunion, and a fun one at that.

Don't ask why it's just what we do.

Since Halloween ended up being on a Sunday (which should never happen) we got a little creative on our church outfits.

Emily sure missed my mom, don't worry it's all with love.

They sure are pretty..that is my mom and her sister.

We finished off the weekend at Twizl Berry, which happened to be a Friday night treat for Emily and I during spring semester so we had to share the goodness secret with the family.

I was one of the few selected to go to New York in a couple of weeks for BYU-Idaho's Business Expedition. We get to meet with a bunch of different companies and network for future employment opportunities. I am so excited that I might just start packing today. Big city meet small town girl!

It's official we have been apart for 2 months and I miss my roommate, sister, and friend like crazy. I am counting down the days till Halloween weekend when the Peterson girls will all reunite again for a weekend of fun in Rexburg.

I miss:
Her yelling at me for waking her up in the morning while looking for my ring.
Squeezing on her twin bed to watch Glee together.
Her crazy dancing when homework got to be too much.
Her sleep talking, yelling, and laughing.
Her night time prayers while sitting in the sink.
Her endless dinners of Pasta Roni.
Her pepperconi breath.
Twizleberry Friday Nights.

We have so many good, funny, and crazy memories. I love going to college with my little sister and it will be fun to have all three Peterson girls there spring semester.

It's been a while since my last post, soooooo here is the latest news:

We celebrated Sena's 21st birthday which came along with her mission call to San Fernando, CA. She will be speaking Spanish and reports to the MTC January 5th. I am sure gonna miss her as a roommate, but I know she is gonna make an amazing missionary.

Sena and I also got to hang out with our FHE brother and friend, Kyle Olsen, before he left on his mission to New Mexico. It was fun to all get together and go to the Spokane Fair together.

It's official I have made it to my ONE gallon donation! My dad and I raced to see who could fill the bag the fastest....he of course won. (He has veins like pipes while mine...well...we will just say I will never bleed to death)

Landon = cutest nephew ever!!! He is getting so big and cute, I just love him and love talking to him on skype. I can't wait to see him during Thanksgiving, now that is something to be thankful for.

Weekend Trip to LIBBY

I got to go to Libby this weekend to visit the Ercanbrack's. It was wonderful! I always feel so welcome and have the best time. Lance got me a new plinker for shooting, I was pretty excited.

I got to finally meet and hang out with Cody's friends, Cyrus and Conner. I can see why they are his friends, they are both great guys.

This is Cody's best friend Cyrus. I have heard all about him and talked to him but I FINALLY got to meet him.

I know I say it a lot but Libby is seriously so beautiful, and the Ercanbracks are the GREATEST. We had such a good time but it went by way too fast. Thanks so much Lance and Lora for the wonderful time together.

Little Landon was born today at 3:19 p.m. He is 8 lbs exactly and 22 inches long. I am so excited for Gary and Sarah and can't wait to hold him in a couple of weeks!!

Independence Day

My parents decided they would join us Peterson children down south for the 4th of July week. They started the week off at Bear Lake. Emily and I took off after class to spend the weekend with them. It was great, I sure do miss the parental unit.

We went to the marina to pick out the sailboat my parents want to buy when they retire. I am not sure I am okay with this plan since they will be sailing around the world...excuse me what happened to being grandparents that I could bring the (distant future) kids over and visit.

The lake was so blue and beautiful but a little to cold for Emily and I to swim in but that didn't stop my parents.

My parents finally got to go back to the Logan temple. I am so glad that they were sealed in this temple for all time and eternity. I can't imagine spending eternity with a better family then them!

Then it was off to Midway a cute little Swiss town up Provo Canyon. As a Swiss citizen I felt at home...not really since home was never Switzerland for me but maybe if I had some lederhosen.

All of my mom's side of the family got together for a family picture and bbq. It was fun to see them since there is no family reunion this year and we are all get along so well.

Then it was off to the Stadium of Fire. We had to wait in line FOREVER for dinner is was so crowded. It was a good reminder why I love living in North Idaho so much!

That next morning it was off to the hot springs to relax after being go go go all weekend.

Then we were back at it...off to the Peterson's for 4th of July dinner and packing all of Julie's stuff to move her back home. To be honest I don't know how all the stuff fit, we will just say my dad is an amazing packer.

Hello married life ;) I will give them a break I guess...Sarah is a week overdue and Gary is busy working hard in school, so they deserved a break.

It was so great to spend so much time with all the family. Heavenly Father has definitely blessed me with a wonderful family that has such love for each other. I am so grateful for the freedoms that we have in this country and for all of those who fight for my freedom. It is the home of the free because of the brave.

Today was a GREAT day, especially compared to the bad luck I have had all week. I got a great email forwarded to me from Cody (who is doing amazing).

At 4:16 a.m. I finally found my long lost tooth...I won't go into details about how but I was pretty excited.

There it is in all it's glory, almost ready to go back in.

Emily had a hard time sharing my excitement with me at 4 a.m.

I also got a visit from the tooth fairies. Lance and Lora sent me flowers and a dollar for my tooth...they even let me keep my tooth :) They are amazing and definitely made my day!

Best Weekend EVER!!!

This last weekend Sena and I went up to Libby, Montana to see Cody and the amazing Ercanbrack Family. It really was one of the best weekends I have ever had. The Ercanbrack family was so nice and gracious toward us and we just felt so welcome.

Lance took us horseback riding along a gorgeous trail that followed the river, it was perfect. Here is Sena getting a boost up the hill.

We tried going double which ended a little bad but Cody is not ready to joke about it yet so we won't talk about it :)

This was my reaction most of the time on the horse I am such a baby, even with Lance around to make sure nothing happens.

How cute, leave it to the boys to make sure it's safe to ride double.

I had no idea that people in Montana take garage sales so seriously the traffic was constant to the neighbors garage sale.

Yet another teaching moment....I learned so much this weekend, even how to make waffles.

and shoot guns...... this is called the no look shot, oops.

I am going to call this gun BIG BERTHA, she had power. Thank goodness for the steal sled.

I have to give a shout out to Lora too, I was so bummed to find out that I didn't take any pictures with her. I know I am horrible remembering to take pictures, these pictures are all from Cody. Lora you're great and such wonderful company. I enjoyed watching your hypnotist videos,having late night chats (because every night was a late night), and just spending the weekend with ya. Next time I will make sure and get a picture.

One Fun Day

Today was one fun day!! We spent the day ice skating on Hauser Lake, bowling, and stocking up on all the Christmas goodies marked down to half off. More importantly we just spent time together which doesn't happen to often these days with all the growing up were doing. I was truly blessed with the most wonderful family a girl could ask for.

Yesterday was my last day as a career women at K.M.C. It was a lot harder to say goodbye than I ever expected. At first they were all just "old women" now they are the reason for my tears. I really had a wonderful 1.5 years and loved all of my coworkers for so many different reasons. I soon found out that these women had a lifetime of knowledge and I could learn a great deal from them although some of the information giving to me (I won't go into details) will never come in handy down the road a lot of it will. I am so grateful to everyone of them for always pushing me to be and do better and if I failed they were always there to get me back on track. Here are some random pictures that capture such a wonderful chapter of my life. Thanks to everyone in the Accounting Department, I can honestly say I will never forget any of you!

Shane is one of my best friends from High School and he joined the Marines right after we graduated. He has been in the service for three years and got to come home on leave before he flew out to Japan for ONE year. It was great to spend lots of time with him and I wish I took more pictures but I only captured our bowling adventure. I am just so grateful that there are brave men and women like Shane that are willing to fight for my freedom, I could never say thank you enough. Taylor Swift Concert

I had the opportunity, yes I said opportunity, to go to the Taylor Swift concert with Kellie Pickler as the opening act along with 10,000 other screaming girls. I am not going to lie I had a blast and totally got into it. I did lose me voice the next day but I must admit it was well worth it. Here some photos I was able to snap during intermissions.

It was a FUN night to be sure and a late one, the concert didn't get over till almost 11 p.m. but I highly recommend it to anyone.

Thanksgiving Fun

Thanksgiving was full of fun times and lots of things to be thankful for too. We enjoyed the whole family being together, even though we forgot to take family pictures AGAIN for Christmas cards. We enjoyed cheering on our (as in Emily and I) Spokane Chiefs boys, even though bringing "Bad Luck Gary" made them lose. Then there was the Ferguson vs. Peterson Thanksgiving football game and let me tell you the Peterson's dominated, thanks in a large part to our captain aka dad! I am so thankful to have the family that I was blessed with!
